Cozy spaces

 

Winter weekends make me want to bundle up and relax with comfort food, favorite movies, and good books.  A few of my favorite images du jour would be the perfect setting for doing just that…  

 

A few of the common characteristics that make these spaces so cozy are their use of RED (I seem to be smitten with this color lately- see my last post!), layering pattern upon pattern, worn woods, accessory collections that are just eclectic enough but not cluttered, and lots of pillows, throws, and slipcovers.  Definitely a recipe for wanting to settle into a chair, put your feet up, and stay that way for a while!
