Peonies are a fave flower among so many, and since they have such a sadly short season I'm posting away with them...hmm maybe I need to retitle this Friday Peonies instead of Friday Flowers!
This one is from my parents house, where a storm conveniently made this perfect bloom fall. I love it in the pretty turquoise blue vase I gave them last Christmas from here.
Happy weekend!
I adore Peonies and unfortunately a storm has flattened my biggest plant :(. But I did manage to snap a few photos beforehand. I think I'll do a post on them too. Love your blog ;)

You can never have enough peonies!
ReplyDeleteI love the steel windows in the kitchn in your previous post - they really make the space!
Have a great weekend Alice.
Great color combination ... simple and perfect.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love peonies too; they are certainly a favorite of mine. And the pink peony does look fantastic in that turquoise vase!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a coincidence, Alice.
ReplyDeleteI just posted about how peonies are my favorite flowers. It was one of the six uninteresting things about me! Sorry it took me so long to do this post.
Hope you are having a great weekend.

Alice,
ReplyDeleteFirst time I've stopped in (via Brooke Gianetti) and loving your blog! Peonies are truly gorgeous! I live in eastern WA and mine are blooming right now. Summers really are the best time of year here thanks to the beautiful peonies. Hope you enjoy your stay in Seattle. Seattle sparkles in the summer!
Peonies are my favourite flowers too...esp. silk peonies. We have so much in common! Have a nice break in Seattle.
ReplyDeleteRecently I am enamored w/ Peonies too. These are so pretty. I also love the blue vase, great combo:)
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things about Peonies are the Pretty Trash they litter your home with when in one sudden violent explosion they fall from being a perfect blossom to thousands of petals dancing across your living room floor blowing in the wind.
ReplyDeleteReally cute!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday.
LOVE all your Friday flower posts!
ReplyDeleteWe love our peonies too! Wonderful thing is, we can always have them in our houses with our realistic silks. Right now in my yard, the peonies are gone, but my pink hydrangeas are magnificent.
